We experienced some minor excitment at work when a mouse (or is it a small rat?) scurried across the floor. Poor little guy looked so scared I felt sorry for him. But, within minutes site services showed up, caught him and took him away. I couldn’t believe how fast they arrived… and, no, the little guy wasn’t in my office.

That’s the address where you’ll find me these days. The workload is already heavy after just over two weeks on the job. So many new things to learn coupled with doing marketing in a completely new geography. Fun, fun.

Here’s a photo of my new office. I share an area with three other people, so it can get loud, especially when everyone is on the phone. I’m getting better at tuning them out… but I still have a long ways to go.

Spent the day at Intel “headquarters” today in Santa Clara at the Robert Noyce Building. I borrowed someone’s office that was just to the right of the second balcony… I kept spacing out looking out the window.

We went to Dave & Buster’s in Milpitas for a team-building activity today. James mixed alcohol and firearms.

I don’t know what to make of this. Obnoxious doesn’t quite define what I saw today in the breakroom. I’m not even sure extra obnoxious does.

Robert’s “woody” shirt makes you look at it, all the while making you want to look away. You get stuck somewhere in the middle not knowing what to do.

I’ll be happy if I never see this shirt again.
