It was a long elevator ride up to fid out my knee’s fate. Fortunately, I don’t have a tear, but my meniscus is “soft” with some fluid build-up. Now, I have to cycle five times a week for about 4-6 months to strengthen it. Good excuse to buy a new bike.

Went to see Sheryl Crow tonight and she put on a great show. Lance even found his way on stage pretending to be a guitar tech.

Called this small B&B home last night. It was a nice place to get away, sit by the fire, and read books.

Did this short hike near Tanner Creek by the Bonneville Dam today.

Beans, beans the magical fruit… the more you eat, the more you… well, you get the point. Anyway, Weston and I loaded up on chilli while tasting all the entries.

Saw this on the freeway today… I think it would look funny behind my big truck though.

Things are getting too loud over on my side of the building with all the new people moving in. David’s new industrial-strength headphones help dampen the noise a bit.

No, I wasn’t in detention this late in the day at Century High School… Cyndi and I are taking a Photoshop class there. Now, I just need to get a good camera so I can put my new skills to use. Or wait, maybe I can fix the mediocre ones from my K-mart camera.

Tonight, I checked out our local Mac Users Group meeting downtown at the Ecotrust Center. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting… especially all the grandpa’s and grandma’s who are super technology geeks. I hope that is me when I’m old, rather than being distrusting of it. Anyway, the guest speaker from LaCie showed off some new storage products. My favorite was an external hard drive with biometric security (fingerprint).

Ride the streetcars in Portland, but first you need to get by this guy. The tiki-totem poles are adjacent to Jamison Square in the Pearl District and they cover the catenary poles for the Portland Streetcars.
