I think this lemon subliminally inspired me to get the fresh squeezed lemonade with dinner tonight. Interesting how only one of the entire bunch is ripe, but what do I know… we don’t have citrus fruit in Oregon.

Got into San Jose today for the Camp Apple event I’m running. It’s a crash-course for our team to get acclimated with our new PowerBooks and OS X. It’s all being held at the Dolce-Hayes Mansion. The next few days should be really fun!

It was fantasy football draft day at the “man room” in Veneski’s basement today. My team looks pretty tough this year with a strong starting lineup: Mike Vick, Shaun Alexander, Edgerrin James, Michael Clayton, Andre Johnson, Tony Gonzales, Shayne Graham, and Bills DST.

Our Amberglen Sportsfest volleyball team made the semi-finals in our recreation mixed league. We lost tonight.

Went to The Rheinlander German restaurant with Neif and Allison tonight. I was late because my flight in from San Jose was an hour late… typical Alaska Air. Anyway, the cheese fondue appetizer was great. For dinner, I had the veal jäger schnitzel with mushrooms and creamy paprika sauce, along with some Spätzle.

A strawberry ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins didn’t make me feel like a kid again, but it was tasty none the less. I can’t believe I’m 32.

Troy practices looking natural for his wedding photos tomorrow… hopefully, he doesn’t have this much PBR in him though. Anyway, the BBQ at his house was fun and the food was great. Good idea to cater it.

Went to Stanford’s with Buchi and Valery tonight. Buchi and I had some tender imported Danish baby-back ribs wood-fired over an open flame and basted with barbecue sauce. Mmm… definitely some of the best ribs I’ve had in a long time.

I played mixed doubles with Lori tonight in our last summer league match and we won 8-1. I can’t believe fall is just around the corner… the summer just flew by. Anyway, our team ended up being tied 3-3 at the end of match play so Lori and I played in the super-tiebreaker and choked and lost after having a match point. Afterward, she distributed her special lemonade to help ease the sting of defeat.
